End of Social Men's Sessions

We have been running Social Men's hockey sessions since February 2018 for young, old, experienced, inexperienced and altogether new players.

We are delighted to say for those who have attended it has been a really fun, social experience and we look forward to taking this further with our league entry for the 2018/19 season- keep your eyes peeled for more information in the near future!

The sessions culminated in a friendly match on Wednesday 9th May at LGS against a mixed ladies side with players from throughout the club’s five senior teams. The game was a family affair with fathers playing against daughters and couples playing against one another, a great sign of the club's family values. We were grateful to receive support from number of players from other clubs in the men’s side and the men finished the game as 4-3 winners despite a late surge from the ladies team. 

A huge well done to all the players who have attended over the last few months and thank you to all our supporters and helpers over the last few weeks who have enabled the sessions to go ahead free of charge.
