Leicester Firsts Extend Lead At Top Of Table

Leicester City extended their lead at the top of the Investec Division One North table after winning 2-0 at home against Belper on Saturday 22 February.

Rachel Mack gave the league leaders the lead with a goal from open play in the 20th minute with a rocket of a shot into the goal. The game continued to be played at a high tempo with more chances falling to either team but it was Olive Hepi who sealed the points 11 minutes from time.

Next week the ladies make the long trip to Swansea who currently sit second in the table.
