Fantastic Win For Fours

On a mild October Saturday morning, Leicester City Hockey Club's 4s took on Market Harborough 2s at St Margaret's Pastures.

With a few players in key positions missing, some players were asked to play out of position and duly stepped up.

A bright start saw Chiara Bensi round the 'keeper and slot home and further goals followed half-time to make it 3-0. The team played flowing hockey and controlled the game well, creating chances aplenty.

Market Harborough never gave up and on one of their attacks they put a lovely effort past GK Rhiannon Izard.

The final score was 6-1, with goals for Chiara Bensi (3), Lydia Cross, Tara Bahra and Lauren Ellis.

Special mention to Nicola and Sian, who played composed hockey whilst totally out of position. Player of the Match, voted by her peers was Tara Bahra.
