RICHARDSON'S FIRST SEASON ENDS IN DISAPPOINTMENT
Former Leicester star, Helen Richardson, was part of a Den Bosch side that tasted Hoofdklasse play off defeat for the first time in 11 years over the weekend, Den Bosch won the League but had to then play runner-up Amsterdam over a best of three series. Amsterdam won Game 1 by 2-1 but Den Bosch hit back with a 1-0 win to level the series. In the final match, judging from a video on http://www.hockey.nl/ Richardson's side were all over Amsterdam but conceded two awful goals either side one of their own. I am not much cop at Dutch but I think the article says that Den Bosch missed loads, including pcs whereas Amsterdam scored on their two incursions into the circle to win 2-1 and take the championship.
