Was he right to seek endorsement or should he have focused on inspiring the next generation? I know what I think.

Well, it wasn't legacy, more kids knowing about hockey and wanting to play. It was about proving England Hockey robust and worth funding!

Sad that England lost 4-1 to Germany in WC semi today. What did David Faulkner say on 5 Live would be the best thing if England won today?

@IanStringerBBC Thanks Ian. I start a blog for Soar Media next week. I may be on Monday's Radio Leicester breakfast show. Watch this space.

Why don't the winners attend the Laureus World Awards in person? When I win I'm going to turn up, unlike Bolt, Williams, Clijsters etc

GET RID OF OLD STICKS!
If anyone has any old hockey sticks or balls they no longer need or use, please can they pass them to Trem. We are working with our local school sport partnership in Blaby and Harborough and all the schools desperately need to play and train with usable sticks. If you do have any, please put them by the green storage box on the water pitch on a wednesday night and once we have collected enough, we'll pass them over to the schools.
