WELCOME TO LEICESTER

Leicester Ladies Hockey Club is one of the oldest (formed in 1894) and most successful Womens National Premier League Hockey Clubs in the country, having won the title 3 times in the last four years, and five times in all. Leicester finished the 2006-7 season as Premier League Champions and as silver medallists in the European Champions Cup held in Baku. This year four Leicester players represented and played for Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics in China.

The club also runs four other senior teams which play in the Midland Leagues (the second team winning the Midlands Premier League in 2007/08) and local County Leagues, so we are able to welcome and cater for players of all ages and abilities. Leicester’s youth section continues to be successful entering teams into both Local and National Competitions.

The club achievement of England Hockey's ClubsFirst accreditation will also ensure that the Club provides a safe and structured development for our next generation of players as well as our current ones.
