QUIZ Night 27th February 2010

The club is pleased to announce a fundraising quiz night on Saturday 27th February. Tickets are available at http://leicesterhc-quiz.eventbrite.com/ and the ticket price of £10 includes food as well as entry into the quiz. There will also be a raffle. Teams are of up to 6 people.

Book early to avoid disappointment as we are limited on places and we would like to plan for the catering.

If you would prefer to pay by cheque or cash rather than use google checkout, please make cheques payable to 'Leicester Hockey Club', or hand Cash to Emma Colebourn or Trem with names of attendees.

WELCOME TO LEICESTER

Leicester Ladies Hockey Club is one of the oldest (formed in 1894) and most successful Womens National Premier League Hockey Clubs in the country, having won the title 3 times in the last five years, and five times in all. Leicester finished the 2006-7 season as Premier League Champions and as silver medallists in the European Champions Cup held in Baku. In the last Olympics in Beijing, China Four Leicester players represented and played for Great Britain.

The club also runs four other senior teams which play in the Midland Leagues (the second team winning the Midlands Premier League in 2007/08) and local County Leagues, so we are able to welcome and cater for players of all ages and abilities. Leicester’s youth section continues to be successful entering teams into both Local and National Competitions.

The club achievement of England Hockey's ClubsFirst accreditation will also ensure that the Club provides a safe and structured development for our next generation of players as well as our current ones.
